I would like to see new established logo designers like Nido and Mike Erickson (logomotive) discuss their process in getting sketch to final sign of. I would like to hear the thoughts on choice of typography, color. There is hundreds of books out there already on logo design displaying the usual suspects, this book has the opportunity to be so much different, a logo designers book for the logo designer, I want to see doodles, mistakes and failed concepts, I want to see the evolution of idea to final logo, I want to see small companies with limited budgets getting a killer logo and giving them the edge in the market place. Thank you and good luck with this project, Ill be first in the queue to buy!

Really like Paul McDaid's and Gariphic's suggestion of a case study of a designers brainstorming and development processes. Also a section devoted to typography would be super cool, something that discusses leading and tracking and why some partnerships of lettering work and others don't.

Got a new idea to be mentioned in the book. What about things, gadgets, devices which are used by the creatives? It can be a kind of a poll in advance, and then you can devote a page or two to the things which are the mostly used and appreciated by the creatives. Guess it will be really interesting to know what are the top notch things for daily use in creative work.

I think it would be interesting to have a 'real world bit about how a logo came about and why it's not quite as good as it should have been. It would take a brave designer to do it, because it might involve slagging off a client - we've all had logos that ended up butchered by committee or beaten down and diluted by the approval process. Might be nice to see how good they could have been.

Great suggestions so far. My thought would be maybe a spotlight on a design/agency/shop per book or possibly maybe a couple per book. It is always nice to learn a bit more about those that create such creative work.
